Ano Ulam for lunch?

Grilled eggplant torta (omelette), fluffy white rice, fried Daing na bangus (Butterflied milkfish), Sinigang na Tilapia (Tilapia in sour broth), leftover buttered shiitake mushroom pasta and a soy sauce + lime + chili powder dipping sauce for the fried fare.

I particularly enjoy nibbling on the stem or the “handle” of the eggplant because of the smoky, fleshy meat inside. :

The vegtable + fried fish + rice + dipping sauce combo is your typical, no brainer Pinoy meal. It’s filling, delicious and you can change your viands depending upon your budget/taste.
